When are we able to view our images?
The average turnaround time for fully edited images is about 3 weeks from your wedding date.
Where will we be able to view our images?
Your images will be available to view in a password protected gallery where you will be able to choose your favorite images to make prints, share on social media, and download the photos in 3 different sizes.
What type of camera equipment do you use?
I use professional Nikon cameras and lenses – D850, D810, D7100 camera bodies, and a variety of lenses (portrait, wide angle, zooms) to capture all of your moments in the very best manner. I also carry back-ups of all equipment, batteries, and memory cards, and all items are checked and cleaned before each wedding.
Do you provide every image you capture?
No, we do not. We sort through every image and choose only the highest quality photos to deliver to you. We sort out any duplicate shots, shots that are out of focus, shots with closed eyes, and other flaws. You can expect a finished product of 75-100 shots per hour of wedding coverage. ( i.e. for an 8 hour wedding, you should expect 600-800 images)
Do you provide videography?
We can recommend our favorite videographers for full service, or we can arrange simple ceremony recording through our studio.
How far in advance should we book?
It is best to book around 12-14 months in advance, as we are currently booking about a year out. Busy season here in AZ is October-May, so if your wedding falls during this period, it’s important that you contact us to reserve your date, before it’s booked! Normally the photographer is secured right after the venue is booked. If your wedding is less than a year away, or even a last minute wedding, we still may be able to help! We will sometimes have gaps or cancellations, so please contact us to check your date.
What is needed to book your services?
For all standard wedding collections, a 25% deposit is required. For intimate weddings, and last minute bookings (less than 3 months), a 50% deposit is required. Payments for all wedding collections are made online via secure server, and you have access to make payments at any time using your private link.
If I need to cancel/reschedule my wedding or a portrait session, what is the process?
If something unexpected occurs, please contact me as soon as possible.
The wedding deposit is non-refundable, as it is often very hard to rebook a specific day once a cancellation occurs, resulting in loss of business for me. If you are rescheduling, the same applies, unless the wedding is more than 6 months out. As long as I have availability, I will apply your deposit to the new wedding date.
For portrait sessions – If you need to reschedule, less than 24 hour notice will require a reschedule fee of $50.
Kairos Photography reserves the right to reschedule any session or event due to photographer illness, personal emergency, or inclement weather. While extremely rare, we are all human and things happen! When applicable, the session will then be rescheduled to the first available date that works for both you and the photographer. In the event that a shoot cannot be rescheduled, the client will be refunded all monies paid (Please allow 5-10 business days, depending on your bank). For weddings or events 3 hours or longer, I will make every attempt to schedule a replacement photographer.
If Kairos Photography cannot perform due to fire or other casualty, strike, act of God, or other cause beyond the control of the parties, or due to Photographer’s illness or emergency, then the Photographer shall return all monies paid to the Client but shall have no further liability with respect to the Contract. This limitation on liability shall also apply in the event that photographic materials are damaged in processing, lost through camera or other media malfunction, lost in the mail, or otherwise lost or damaged without fault on the part of the Photographer. In the event Kairos Photography fails to perform for any other reason, Kairos Photography shall not be liable for any amount in excess of all monies paid.
Please back up all digital copies of your photographs in 1-2 places. We recommend an external hard drive or flash drive, as well as online/cloud storage. Kairos Photography will make every effort to retain your files for up to 12 months from the date of your event. Kairos Photography is not responsible for any loss of images that result from clients not backing up photos in multiple locations following delivery of the images to them.
The images from each session/event will be narrowed down and edited by Kairos Photography at Tiffany’s discretion. The gallery will be comprised of the best shots from the shoot, as determined by Tiffany. All other shots will be discarded immediately. Tiffany will then edit these shots to represent her artistic vision and style. Some of these photos may be presented in color, black & white, or any other finish of Tiffany’s choice.
